Yamaksa Dictionary

The back of the Kakiyama:
While the front of a Yamakasa is referred to as Omote, meaning “table”, the back is called Miokuri, which means “a farewell”.
Why exactly it is named like that is not known, though it is probably because it is the side one sees when the Kakiyama is departing.
