Everything about the Yamakasa and their districts
Daikoku-nagare has experienced the least change out of Hakatas districts throughout the centuries and the inhabitants are very interested in upholding old traditions.
This rather large district has roughly the same area as the Daikoku-nagare as used for division of Hakata during the Hakata-Dontaku festival. The inhabitants often participate in both events.
The water vests are not unified under one design but show different patterns depending on the sub-district of the wearer.
